Up until the early 1950's, there were quite a few monuments left at the cemetery, but, now they have either been removed or have sunken into the ground. The cemetery was located not far from the Pleasant Hill African American Church. This info came from the book by Eva Loe McDuffie called Liberty Hill-Brush Valley- Friendship The Churches, The Schools, The Community and The People.
