Thought I'd weigh in on this WIMBERLY thread. My great grandmother was Mattie Jane WIMBERLY MCKETHAN (b. 1855 Arcadia, Bienville Parish, LA d. 1923.) She married John Geddie MCKETHAN (b. 1845 Fayetteville, Cumberland, NC d. 1929) in Bienville Parish, LA. Does anyone show Mattie Jane WIMBERLY as a sister or daughter to your ancestor? I'd like to know the names of her parents and siblings and where they lived before Louisiana. Thanks for any help you can give.
