Billie Jean says in her book that the Aldridges only left their name on a creek in Bienville area but bit by bit I am finding information on some that we left behnd There are marriages in 1853 of Isham Aldridge to Mrs Cassa Dove, in 1860 of Winnie Aldridge to Elisha Hearne and in 1867 of Louisa Aldridge to Thomas Williams and at both of these marriages a witness was Thomas P Aldridge I also found a marriage of Eliza Murphy of Bienville who married a William Aldridge in Natchitoches The women who married Allen Aldridge in 1851 was Eliza Anderson I believe the daughter of John J Anderson and his brother Johnathon married Mary C Brinkley I have found James, and Henry Brinkley on the census but nothing on Mary C If any of these names strike a bell in your memory please contact me We also have connections with the Lows and the McBrides Sure hate that courthouse burned so early Thanks and take care JOY
