My grandmother Ruby Avery raised me most of my life and passed away May 2005. I'd like to know something about the other side of my family [father's]. All i know is their names Joe sr. and Susie and her name could have been Seisette Grimes. I don't remember them too well. My daddy had 2 brothers Roy and Leslie and 3 sisters Bernadine, Betty and Nan. I'm not sure her real name was Nan,But i think she was deaf. You can e-mail at dpufpaff@nc.rr.com. Thanks for your time!

while trying to research Flugence Couvillion, I found that there was no email list for that surname, so I contacted rootsweb & have one set up now. I listed it as for Couvillion/Quevillion and other various spellings. If you are interested in joining this list, here are the instructions: subscribe to the list in mail mode by sending a message to COUVILLION-L-request@rootsweb.com that contains the word subscribe and nothing else. If they prefer digest mode, they should send the command instead to _COUVILLION-D-request@rootsweb.com_ (mailto:COUVILLION-D-request@rootsweb.com) . The mail mode means that you will receive each message as it is sent, and the digest means that several messages will be lumped together & sent every few days. Hopefully, this will help us all connect and find records of these ancestors. Please feel free to pass this information around. Joyce Bridges, Couvillion list manager
I have found Charles SCHWARTZENBERG with his wife and children in the 1910 and 1920 census. Does anyone know this family? Are they related to the family of that name in Rapides Parish? Floreda
Wish to contact Randy DeCuir who has researched the Couvillion family of Avoyelles Parish. Please contact privately. Joyce jsbridg@aol.com

She has also attended classes on historic preservation at the Windsor Institute of Vermont.
