Then one All Saints day while putting flowers on another greatgrands grave I was talking to them as I always do :):):):), suddenly I turned to my left and I was staring at the back of this large stone and wondering out loud, was that the stone I had been looking for. I walked on wobbly knees to see the front and lo and behold there it was. I almost fainted. I could not believe all the times I had walked the cemetery I had not noticed it. So believe me, it happens to most of us at some time or other. Warm regards, Jeanette Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 2. Martha Lyle
    3. Looking for John C. BANKSON, d. 1822 in Louisiana. He had recently come to Louisiana "after an appointment to adjust the affairs of the Trading House at the junction of the Little River of the South with Red River." I am told that these two rivers join near Marksville. He was in the lumber business in Baltimore, MD. I'm interested in the lumber industry around 1822, BANKSON's burial place, cause of death, etc. Thanks, Martha Lyle

    2. freedbyluvv
    3. Greetings to the list. I am searching for more information on the death dates/burial location of my great grandparents. I last saw them alive on the 1880 Avoyelles Co. census, District #5. His name was Essex HARRIS, and was age 92, his wife was Elizabeth (99% sure her maiden name was WARD) and she was age 88. They are both from Virginia, county unknown at this time. They came from Ohio sometime after 1850. Any leads, suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated! Have a great day, --April researching Fears, Robinson, Hurd, GA.> OH.
