Dear Jim, You were asking about where to find a tract of land. Have you tried the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) site? I know that it used to be possible to search their database for land by surname, state and geographical region.Their website is: http://www-a.blm.gov/eso/ I know it is still possible to search at their site, but am not sure which path accesses that database.
