I am preparing an article listing some early residents of Ascension Parish. It would help me to know where in 1818 the following piece property was located: a tract of land on the left bank of the Mississippi bounded above by the land of Michel Lambremont and below by that of Michel Gaucuel or Garcuel. The tract was purchased by Jean Cassard. I believe it was near Donaldsonville.
