Hi gang: Have a book for a few weeks called: Nugent Pioneers of South Central Louisiana by Sarah Bowman Hann. There are about 50 pages of surnames...too numerous to list here, but this book does cover areas outside of central LA also. It has geneologies as well as obits, newspaper articles etc and lists the sources that these can also be found. If you think your people might be in here....I'll be happy to look for you and let you know what is in here.
