    2. Jan, what books are you speaking of? I practically moved into our library and have never found anything on my Baptist/Lutheran ancestors in books even similar to Father Hebert's books. I can find some things at the churches where they were married, etc. I'd love to be able to find this in the library. Father Hebert's books gives the name of each church for each happening, therefore you can go to these for documentation. Not birth certificates which of course you have to mail off for. I was just trying to make what seemed like a very hard task into something simple for the person asking the question, since I live in the Lafourche area. Terrebonne to be exact. Louvenia P.S.
