Hi This is a long shot...I'm wondering if anyone has ever run across a list of soldiers (more or less) who accompanied Mina, Cpt. Campbell and James Long (and his wife Jane, daughter and a maid) to the Galveston/Point Bolivar area of TX in 1821. There was supposedly about 100 of them. Some went to Mexico but most stayed behind on the island in TX until rations got low and then headed back to LA. (The expedition to Mexico was a failure and Long died there.) Am trying to find out if some of my relatives, who lived in LA at the time and moved to Bolivar Peninsula ten or so years later, were among them. Jan
