I am going to make a visit to Amite in October. My husband has relatives still living there. I hve a brickwall so I will try to get in some libraries in the area. I will be visiting particularly in Liberty, Gloster and Columbia Mississippi. I have hopes of visiting the McCain Collection at USM in Hattiesburg. Can any body give me some suggestions. I will be coming up from Louisiana as I am picking up my 80 year old mother-in-law. I know that I will be liimited in what I will be doing but do want to do as much as I can. Diane Short
