I had a very positive experience with the Clerk's Office. I telephoned them to inquire about fees for making a copy of marriage application for my great grandfather. The lady who answered the phone told me to be patient as they are "short-handed" and that if they had to do any research, they would have to charge for it. I sent them $5.00 to cover the costs of the copy. I didn't need a certified copy but thought that they may have to look a little longer for something for the mid 1800's.
