Chris, I have researched records in East Feliciana and was charged $1 per page for copies, which is about the same as many clerk of court offices--although many libraries only charge 10-25 cents. I have no idea what they charge for research, but it's great that they found something. Perhaps you should request a description of the copies they found. My ggg grandfather, James Brown, married Margaret Simmons in 1809. This was his second marriage and I obtained a copy of the marriage certificate from Liberty, Amite Co., Ms. He lived in the Feliciana area, but at that time, protestant marriages were performed in Liberty, I have been told.
