Hi I am searching for any information on these families especially in the Richland and Ouachita Parishes around 1930s. My grandfather's name was Frank Runels he married Maggie Spears. Frank was nicknamed Red Man. Rumor has it he was Native American-supposedly Cherokee-no proof. First wife was Sarah Woodward/Woods. Need more info on her. Maggie and Frank had 4 children: Frank, Jr. (Doc), Jeff, Clara Mae, Philip (my father.) Maggie's siblings were Roosevelt Spears, Bula Spears Singleton. I would like cemtaray/bible records on these families. Frank is buried at Bethel Baptist (?) or Pilgrim's Rest near Winnsboro (I believe). Maggie remarried a man with the last name of Taylor and moved to Lake Charles. The families worked for Ben and Cecil Pardue on the Pardue Place and Gold Mine Plantation. Bula married Ben Singleton he was born in Ruston, LA. Maggie and Roosevelt were born in Amite, Centerville MS. Thanks for your time and help cedwards
