One 5 year old child, Dolores Bertha Kemmler. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --- I'm searching for the descedants of two brothers John and Jacob Kemmler, who lived in 1891/92 in New Orleans. John was a painter. From Jacob I know, that he has lived separated from the family and worked as a bar tender during that time. I only could locate a directory entry for John in New Orleans. John and Jacob had a cousin, Robert E. Kemmler living in St. Louis, Missouri in 1891/92 from which I have some letters and know a little bit about the relations. Robert E. Kemmler immigrated to the U.S. in 1891 from London, but was born in Reicheneck, Wuerttemberg, Germany. He was looking for two uncles immigrated earlier. He found one of his uncles in Pennsylvannia and the other was the father from John and Jacob. Their father died in 1874. When I read the entries for Robert E. Kemmler, I wondered whether he could be a son of John or Jacob. Perhaps it would be possible to trace the roots back to John/Jacob and their German ancestors. If any one of you have some more information on Robert E. Kemmler and his wife, I would appreciate any help. Kind regards, Ruediger Kemmler Munich, Germany
