Rose was an engineer involved in the construction of sugar machinery and became the state chemist for Florida, Sanford had a sugar Plantation (Oakley, but I am not sure in what part of Louisiana) and I am not sure what Ingraham did in your state. All three became instrumental in the development of Florida, specifically as related to railroads and drainage. Any information or suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you, Barbara
