Hey Cheryl: Thanks for your offer to help. Following is the information I am looking for. I am trying to locate the marriage of William Lavergne and Marie Thibodeaux, which probably occured around 1860 or so. Willam was born c. 1834 and Marie was born c. 1846. As far as I can tell, they were both FPOC, probably at least 1/2 Native Amercican. St. Landry Parish, LA. Also, I think it's time to migrate back to Louisiana, it is 6 degrees this morning, and you know I have never seen this type of cold in my life....LOL. Have a good day.
