Thanks I,m from Montpelier La. where the Bear Creek Restaurant is. Three miles south of where I was born. The Bear Creek Cemetery should be Near Amite La. It may have another Name now? This may be an African American Grave Yard in the back woods. We do not find it listed in any of the list or on the Maps. Just in hopes that someone out there may have the correct information. We have done most of the Tangipahoa Parish Cemeteries. Also; St. Helena - Livinggston - Washington & St. Tammany Parishes. All on line USGenWeb Archives. I hope all the Parishes will soon be online.
