FRANKLIN, GRACE DAVISON A retired East Baton Rouge Parish elementary school teacher who taught for 20 years and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died Sunday, March 4, 2001, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She was 91 and a native of Dallas. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Visiting at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday. Graveside services in Roselawn Memorial Park at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Survived by a son, Robert Davison Darby of Hoodsport, Wash.; two grandchildren, Diane Darby of Walker and Francis David Darby of Olympia, Wash.; and two great-grandchildren, Richie Thomas and Chris Thomas, both of Silver Spring, Md. Preceded in death by her husband, Ben Franklin Jr. She received a bachelor of science degree in education from Southern Methodist University and a master of science degree in education from LSU.
