MCMURRAY, KATHERINE DWYER "KAY" A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter and sister and a retired assistant vice president of Louisiana National Bank with 15 years of service, she died at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2001, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Monroe. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, 6700 Florida Blvd., from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Visiting at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church from 8:30 a.m. until religious services at 9 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Francis Lonakutty. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Beth McMurray, Patricia Ann and Eugene Davis and Shirley McMurray; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael Dwyer McMurray and Frederick Jr. and Rita McMurray; a sister-in-law, Jeanie Glover; four brothers, Reese L. "Buddy" Dwyer, Daniel K. Dwyer, T. Carlysle Dwyer and M. Gordon Dwyer; five grandchildren, Michelle McMurray Thomas; Tara L. McMurray, Anthony M. McMurray, Christopher J. McMurray and Alyse D. McMurray; and a great-grandchild, Blake Thomas. Preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Henry McMurray; and parents, Reese L. and Mary H. Dwyer. She was a member of St. Jude the Apostle parish, a charter member of Sweet Adelines - Baton Rouge Chapter, and was an amateur Louisiana historian and geologist. {genea;ogist]
