Mrs. Ainsley's Fifth Grade class e-mail message has also reached the Gulf of Mexico at Slidell, Louisiana (near New Orleans) where Lake Pontchartrain joins the Gulf, at a pass called "Rigolets" (pronounced rigo-lees). This message is from a great-grandfatherly type who appreciates children that are curious about our country, the world and the universe we inhabit. I earnestly hope that this communication experiment will have a lasting effect on the lives of all the class members. Accept parental and educator guidance and learn from the past as well as the present. Your earnest efforts can make this world a better place than it was before you. You can do this by doing the very best you can for yourself and your family in every thing you do. It will then naturally follow that you will be a benefit to your community and to our society.
