I am trying to find out information about James T. Williams who owned property on the mouth of the Bayou St. John that was mortgaged by Harvey Elkins, tutor for the children James and Thomas. I have information about James T. Williams, Jr. but can find nothing about Thomas or James T. Williams Sr. The succession was filed on July 31, 1830. Any information you might have would be helpful. I found the sucession information in the Plaquemines Parish list and James T. Williams,Jr. in the New Orleans 1870 census showing that he was a Farmer and his son Albert W. was the Deputy Sheriff Thank you. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Debbie Carr
