    3. I am trying to find out any information about the parents of O.G. Thibaut (white male)(his parents, brothers, sisters) The 1880 Census has O.G. Thibaut and wife Mathilde (Williams) living in the Third ward, Plaquamines Parish Supervisor's Dist. No. 1st, E.D. #140. OG was 39 and Mathilde was 21 and they were married in 1880. O.G. Thibaut was born in 1841 in New Orleans and in 1880 is listed as a deputy sheriff in Plaquemines Parish. He died in San Francisco in 1921 and was buried in the Holy Cross Cemetary. The 1880 Census from the Third Ward in Plaquemines Parish has a C.V. Thibaut who is 39 and a widow and the Sheriff of Plaquemines Parish. I do not know how or if they were related. Thank you very much as I have run into a dead end not being able to find out who O.G.'s parents were and how many children they had. Thanks again. Debbie Carr

    3. Deborah, Is it fact that he was born in New Orleans in 1841? I checked all the Thibauts indexed in 1850 Orleans Parish, and none had a son whose given name begins with an "O" initial. Perhaps they left NOrleans after he was born. Any ideas where? Sorry I couldn't be of more help, Linda in Georgia Census/Cemetery Lookup Volunteer Genealogy is my ONLY business. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Deborah Carr" <debc@swbell.net> To: <LA-CENSUS-LOOKUP-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, September 09, 2002 9:18 PM Subject: [LA-CEN] LA-CEN/1890/THIBAUT > I am trying to find out any information about the parents of O.G. > Thibaut (white male)(his parents, brothers, sisters) The 1880 Census has > > O.G.
