    1. [LA-CEN] New Orleans/1870/Bolet/Bollet
    2. I am trying to locate the census records for Jacques/Jean Bolet/Bollet. He was born in France about 1824. He was a blacksmith/gunsmith. He married Margaret Conroy in New Orleans in 1862. By 1870 they had 3 children: Joseph Ferdinand Bolet/Bollet, Mary Melanie Bolet/Bollet, and Albert Jacques Bolet/Bollet. His address may have been 119 St. Louis or 93 Burgundy. His locksmith shop was at 106 Customhouse. Any help appreciated. MargoBelle

    3. Probably an error in transcription of the surname, but I don't find any Bolet/Bollet indexed in 1870 New Orleans nor in the state. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, Linda in Georgia Census/Cemetery Lookup Volunteer Genealogy is my ONLY business. ----- Original Message ----- From: <MargoBelle@aol.com> To: <LA-CENSUS-LOOKUP-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, September 01, 2002 8:28 PM Subject: [LA-CEN] New Orleans/1870/Bolet/Bollet > I am trying to locate the census records for Jacques/Jean Bolet/Bollet. > > He was born in France about 1824.
