Louis Fromental is listed in the Assumption Parish 1820 census. Also, the 5 Feb 1816 marriage at Assumption Church in Plattenville of a Louis Fromental to Maria Ignacia Boudraux is listed in DIOCESE OF BATON ROUGE CATHOLIC CHURCH RECORDS, Volume 3, page 339. Louis is stated to be a native of St Germain Parish in Paris. Baptism records of their children are also listed. You should be able to rent out-of-state US Census microfilm at an LDS Family History Center. Another option is to have your local public library order census microfilm via inter-library loan.
