Jo-Ann, I checked all the Blackshear heads of household in Louisiana except for those in Bossier Parish, which were too dark to read. I found no James or Louvenia born ca 1860 in any of the ones I checked. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, Linda in Georgia Census/Cemetery Lookup Volunteer Genealogy is my ONLY business. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stephens-Avery Family" <bahai@netusa1.net> To: <LA-CENSUS-LOOKUP-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, May 13, 2002 1:22 AM Subject: [LA-CEN] Lou or James Blackshear, 1870 census, unknown county > Hello Friends, > > I am searching for a Louvenia or James Blackshear in the 1870 census; they > would be about 10 years old, give or take a few years.
