I am looking for members of the Sawers family who I suspect may have been in New Orleans in 1900 - Mary Sawers born in Cheshire, England in 1875 who is stated in her brother's will written in November 1901 to be the wife of Patrick Westfeldt of New Orleans (she may have been married by 1900) Also her brothers Colin and Keith - both born in Valparaiso, Chile around 1867 and 1869. The parents of the three siblings were both born in Scotland. This family really got around. I don't know if Colin and Keith went to New Orleans or not, but cannot find either in the 1901 census of England or Scotland, nor have I found their deaths. I do know their father had business connections in New Orleans (their father was James Sawers - James, however was living in Wales in 1901) Any help greatly appreciated Regards Catherine Fitchett Christchurch, New Zealand
