    1. [LA-CEN] BEAUREGARD TOTANT
    2. Hello List Any suggestions on how I can review deeds and/or probate records for slaves this slaveowner may have bought/acquired while in LA. Later he came to TX & owned slaves. He died in TX. My ancestors' places of birth are Lousiana. So I am wondering if Totant brought them with him to TX around 1857. They were in the TX counties of Bexar and Wilson -- perhaps Karnes Co. also. Thanks for any advice. Jamie Harris TX native in Las Vegas
