I would appreciate it if someone could find Sanford H. Turley, child of about 9 years old, in Calcasieu Parish, LA. He was born 1851 in Johnson's Bayou,LA and I suspect his father was William Turley. Cannot locate Johnson's Bayou per se enumerated in Calcasieu Parish. Perhaps combined with another small community? Thanks in advance for any help. Melanie, I have no way to find her without checking each Blake head of household to see if she is named as being in the home. I went back and checked all the white Blake families in 1920 Natchitoches and she was not included in any of those. Perhaps they were in a different county. Her death certificate should give the name of her father and that would definitely help in locating her in census. There are over a hundred Blakes indexed in 1920 Louisiana. Once again, I can't find these folks in New Orleans. Nobody with a first name Arthur had a surname that looked anything near Rochon, so I tried "A" initials, and found only an A.
