He died 4 March 1947 and was buried in Verda Grant Parish, LA. His father was my gr gr grandfather. I have been trying to record our family genealogy and would like a picture of the grave site of James Andrew Patton, and a map of the location of the site in the cemetery for future use. If there is someone in the area that would get this information for me and send me the bill, I am more than willing to pay for the picture. Thankyou in advanace; Sandra (Patton) Pickett sdpickett@triton.net

    3. I have a distant cousin that lives in the Forest Hill area that is a retired music teacher. I will inquire about her address and try to connect you. I will keep a copy of what I received and try to get back to you with any information I can. My uncle, Gailon Steve Weeks, has taken pictures at many cemeteries--he may be of help. I too have family from the Simpson, LA area, yet I have only seen them at an annual reunion held the first weekend in June. My grandparents, Fred Oscar Weeks and Pearl Netherlin, are from that general area. 3. Sandra: I live in Bossier City about two hours from Grant Parish. I could look the cemetery up for you. Do you know what cemetery James Andrew Patton is buried in? Do you have a death certificate which would probably indicate cemetery? Do you have an obituary on James Andrew Patton? My charge is $12.50 per hour plus expenses.
