>There is an annual fee of $25, for $250, the tomb is ok for ?, $800 is >"perpetual" care. I fear that this is depending on what the meaning of >perpetual is in the ear of the sayer. I have no idea what "perpetual" care means, either! Where my Father is buried (Bellevue Memorial Gardens in Opelousas) all of the graves are in the ground, except for the Mausileum (sp). Each grave is marked with "slab markers" some quiet elegant, others plain, depending upon the financial status of the family. The grass is cut as needed...they use riding mowers or a tractor since there are no tombs to cut around. I understand that meaning of perpetual care. But, what does perpetual care mean in the older cemeteries where loved one are buried in tombs? We are witnessing the definition now! I did forward the e-mail of this morning with the petition to my "addressbook"...the more people we can get interested and involved the better! Shirley cajungal@bayou.com
