I have ancestors from La. with the surnames DUVERNOIS and BURTON. John BURTON married Marie Theresa DUVERNOIS. Believe they settled in New Orleans. Children were Philip BURTON, who died in Civil War, and my G Grandmother Theresa Duvernois BURTON, Marie died when Theresa was 12, and Theresa then educated at Convent of the Sacred Heart, New Orleans, finishing her education for several years in France. Theresa married Eugene LEROY in 1869 in New Orleans. I'd be interested in finding any of these names in cemeteries in the New Orleans area. Thanks, Ray Ray Horton sunray@erie.net
