    1. Re: [LA-CEMETERIES] Louisiana Cemeteries
    2. This is probably a long shot, but I've been searching for the burial site of my grandfather, Jean Faustin Breaux, d. August 14, 1911. His wife, who preceded him in death (Nov. 19, 1907) is buried at the Catholic cemetery in Grosse Tete, but he is not. Indications are that he may have been buried in Plaquemine (no exisiting record) or St. Gabriel. (The time of his death included the period when the St. Gabriel church had burned, and no christenings, weddings, burials, etc. were taking place.) There's a gap in the records at St. Gabriel which I have not been able to trace, but noticing your reference to a Baton Rouge cemetery I thought I'd ask to check the records there for 1911. Many thanks for any help you may offer.
