Searching for the final resting place of my great great grandparents, so for all we know is ..."somewhere in that direction...among the weeds...their grave might be marked with a rusty hubcap..." The property is now owned by a logging company. A good place to start this major project is on the local level, eg. the church in St. Martinville. Then contacting the Diocese whether it be Lafayette, Homer-Thibodeaux, etc. perhaps there are funds that could be made available. Letter writing to the appropriate parties is a good beginning.
