Joseph Casimire LeBlanc, originally from St. James Parish, LA. Moved to Port Barre, LA, in St. Landry Parish. J. C. LeBlanc remained in Port Barre the remainder of his life. He was the father of John Olivier LeBlanc. According to Hebert's Southwest_Louisiana_ _Records, he died 29 June 1885. Burial location not given in it. Can't recall the name of the book giving names of those in the large Opelousas Cemetery, but none of my LeBlanc relatives are listed in it. Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
