Looking for information on ancestors Robert Spencer Chadsey and his wife Sarah (or Mary) Ann Sisson. Robert Chadsey was born in North Kingstown, Rhode Island 22 Aug 1806, his wife's birthdate, location, and parentage is unknown. Robert Chadsey moved and bought land in St. James Parish and Lafayette, Louisiana. They had 4 children. Both Robert Chadsey and his wife died of cholera in LA. Robert Chadsey died St. James Parish 16 Oct 1850, his wife died in 1854. Upon their mother's death, the children were returned to relatives in Rhode Island.
