Ms.  Aguilar, I'll take a shot at this.  The Thomas Tutt family lived in the Gosneyville-Bethel-Spradley Bridge area.   That is in the "general" area of interest to you. The Sandfield Road leaves Rt.  1010 (the Old State Road) westward to Rt.  746, then southward.  Old Gosneyville was about a mile from that intersection. I believe the Tutt farm was nearer the intersection than closer to Gosneyville. Most of the Tutt family is buried near Gosneyville. A "Bend" most often refers to a sharp turn in a river or creek. Red River makes several sharp bends in that area.  The Sarvis tree with its white flowers are common in Eastern Kentucky as they certainly are in Wolfe County.
