DAVIS, "Watkins" Lillian Age 82 of Dayton (formally of West Liberty Ky) was called home to be with her Lord on Saturday October 13, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents Kie and Gracie Watkins, Brothers John, Kermit, and Leland Watkins, sisters Malcolm Tong and Nila Mae Trent. She is survived by her husband Sonny Ed Davis, children Pauletta Ferris , Katie (Ed) Miller, Steven (Robin) Creech, Tony (Sally) Creech, Scott (Karen) Creech, three step children, Rickey and Jimmy Davis, and Gail Davis-Clawson. Eleven wonderful grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and, four great great grandchildren. Her sister Gusteen (Clarence) Byrd and brother Vernon (Jean) Watkins, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends. A special thanks to Kandy, and Hospice of the Miami Valley for their exceptional care during her illness. She attended Moraine City First Church of God for many years, worked at Wright State University where she retired in 1985. She never seen a stranger, would welcome you into her home for a delicious home cooked meal, laughter and a good time. The family will receive friends and family at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Rd. Wednesday October 17th from 5-8pm . The services a will be held Thursday October 18th 10:00am at the funeral home, with Pastor Russell Hays officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
