    3. Dear members from the list, I am from Holland and have an interest in WW2 history, especially in the US servicemen who fought for our freedom. Recently I came across a WW2 Army item that has the name William P. Butler on it. William was from Wolfe, KY, enlisted in Jefferson Barracks, Missouri, in 1943 (October 14th), and was born in 1915. He was with an Armored Infantry Unit of the 11 Armored Division and wounded during the Battle of the Bulge December 1944/January 1945. I suspect there was an article about the above in a local newspaper (which was common to do so when a serviceman was wounded during combat). I would like to find out more information about the WW2 whereabouts from this soldier, where he served, how he looked liked etc. Who can help me please? Above is all the information I have.... Thank you in advance, kind regards from Holland, Antoine

    3. Hi Antoine,          I am certainly glad to help you all I can. Are you sure William P. Butler was from Wolfe Co.? I ask because Butler is not a usual Wolfe Co., name and I can find no Butlers in Wolfe Co., on the 1920 census. I do find a William P. Butler born 1915 in the 1920 census living in Woodford Co. Kentucky.   James Maxwell From: anthony nouens <bulge@hotmail.com> To: kywolfe@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, August 28, 2011 5:55 AM Subject: [KYWOLFE] WW2/William P.
