GILBERT, George Lee age 81 of Miamisburg, passed away Friday, January 20, 2012. He was born September 9, 1930 in Wolfe County, Kentucky, the son of the late George & Ezell Gilbert. Mr. Gilbert was retired from General Motors with 45 years of service, worked for many years at Walmart, and was a member of the Full Gospel Outreach. Preceded in death by 4 brothers and a sister. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Winnie (Langdon) Gilbert, his son Danny Gilbert, 2 daughters Darlene Gilbert Horn-Grossmann, Pruda Mullins and husband Rick, his brother Mort Gilbert and wife Elizabeth, 2 grandchildren Christopher M. Horn, Eddie Grossmann, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 12 Noon from the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton. Rev. James Maggard officiating. Burial Hillgrove Cemetery.
