    2. TAULBEE, Rev. Elbert "Leon" age 73, of Kettering, Ohio, went to meet the Lord on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Bethany Village Nursing Home, Centerville, Ohio. Leon was born on October 26, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to William Lennox and Cosby Taulbee. He served as an Engineer in the U. S. Army (Reserves) for 7 years. On August 24, 1957, Barbara E. Wilkerson and Elbert Leon Taulbee were joined in Holy Matrimony at the Hatfield Street Church in Dayton. They remained soul mates for over 54 years. He was a Pastor for over 35 years. He is preceded in death by his mother and farther and beloved grandchild, Felicia. Leon in survived by his devoted and loving wife, Barbara of Kettering; three daughters, Deborah L. Murphy of Fairborn, Tammy S. Smart of Dayton and Sondra K. Newhouser of Dayton; two sons; Timothy L. Taulbee of Kettering and William S. Taulbee of Huber Heights; 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; two brothers, Verle Taulbee and L. B. Taulbee; two sisters, Charlene Wood and Sharon Lockhart and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will greatly miss his love and presence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Friday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME, Springfield, with Pastors Charles and Jamie Noel officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Carole Cosby was a Chambers, she and Lennox were married 1929 in Wolfe County.
