Gose is not a name I associate with Wolfe County in general or Tar Ridge in particular. I consulted my "Wolfe County Cemeteries 1860-1991 Volume I" but found no mention of a cemetery by that name anywhere in the county (There is a Volume II which I do not have). Also, no individual with last name "Gose" is listed in the book. The closest match would be Gosney. Three individuals were listed, a husband and wife in Evans Cemetery near Campton and one individual in a Cemetery on Rt. 746 in the Gosneyville Cemetery which may be near where Gosneyville Road and 746 intersect. Although that is relatively close(within 2-3 miles i would estimate) to the Menifee County line and Pomeroyaton (not sure of spelling) I believe that to be on the other side of Menifee County from Tarr Ridge and the 20 or so miles away from Tar Ridge in Wolfe County.
