Albert Raymond Alexander, Jr., 85, formerly of Hazard, died Thursday, December 2 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, Fl. He was a retired district supervisor for the state of Kentucky Department of Mines and Minerals. He was the son of the late Albert R. Alexander and the late Dovie Reynolds Alexander. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Alexander; son A.R. Alexander and brothers Roger and Elden Alexander. He is survived by his wife, Donna Alexander; daughter Teresa Fowler and husband John; grandchild Laura Padfield; great-grandchildren Trey McCoy Fowler and Destiny Joyce Anne Padfield. Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8. Services will follow, while interment will be at Evans Cemetery in Campton.
