Eastern Daylight Time, acbays@mrtc.com writes: BRYANT, John A. 87, beloved husband, father, and grandfather went to live with the Lord on June 29, 2011. He was born in Hazard, Kentucky January 6, 1924, the son of Frank and Fronia Bryant. He came to Ohio in 1944, and resided in Franklin, Ohio for the past 51 years. John was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Fronia Bryant, 5 sisters Agnes, June, Gertrude, Bernice and Norma and 2 brothers, Arnold and Garland. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jacqueline Yancey Bryant, brother, William Walden (Leda) Bryant, son, James (Elise) Bryant, son Frank (Susan) Bryant and daughter Karen (Dean) Holland. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews. John A. Bryant was a dedicated man to his family, his friends and to his church. He was employed by Frigidaire/Harrison Radiator for 37 years. He attended the Poasttown Church of God where he was Head Usher. He was also a member of Riverview Masonic Lodge #717 for 25 plus years. Visitation will be held Tuesday July 12 from 5-9p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. Second St, Franklin, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held at the Poasttown Church of God Wednesday July 13 at 10:00a.m., 6372 Germantown Rd, Middletown, Ohio. Interment at Spring Valley Cemetery, Spring Valley, Ohio will follow the service. Condolences may be made to the family at www.anderson-fh.com. Donations made to the Kidney Foundation or Alzheimer's Foundation may be made in lieu of flowers if so desired. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him. Note: John the s/o Evan Frank Bryant and Safronia Adams, both are buried in the Adams Cemetery, Wolfe County.
