COLDIRON, Cecil Age 91, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties where he had been a patient for two days. He was born January 23, 1922 in Wolfe County, Kentucky and moved to Ohio in 1942. He was employed at B & O Railroad for 25 years, and then as a machine operator at Dupp's Company for 17 years, retiring in 1984. Preceding him in death were his parents, Luther and Judy (Hollon) Coldiron; his wife, Lillian Coldiron in 2003; one son, Douglas Coldiron; one brother, Vernon Coldiron; five sisters, Ada Gentry, Jane Ritchie, Rosie Collins, Maxine Shockley and Daisy Milligan. He is survived by five children, Darrell Coldiron and girlfiend Connie Powell, Donald R. Coldiron, wife Sherry, Diane Ross, husband Ken, Gary Coldiron, wife Traci, and Elaine Hardesty, husband Bob; eight grandchildren, Lonnie Coldiron, Lisa Soto, Douglas Ray Coldiron, Susan Dover, Kristin Hollon, Michelle Coldiron, Jordan Coldiron, and Gage Hardesty; four great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alexander, Chelsie, and Hailey; three brothers, Bill Coldiron, Felix Coldiron, and Glenn Coldiron, wife Phyllis; four sisters, Leona Hounshell, Ruby Wallace, Irene Holt, and Gladys Harvell; many nieces and nephews; and special friend of the family, Jan Rouster. Visitation will be Monday, April 22, 2013 from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, followed by services at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ray Phillips officiating. Interment will be at Woodhill Cemetery, Franklin, Ohio.
