If you have thoroughly researched this family, I working on this lineage and have a very narrow request. I am seeking a piece of CONTEMPORANEOUS evidence that would meet a recognized genealogical standard of proof for demonstrating that Thomas was the son of Willis and Mahala. For example, I have been looking for a Kentucky register record of his 1885 death, which might list the parents, but haven't located it yet. And have also been looking through newspapers. A record pertaining to one of his siblings, which mentions a brother Thomas might suffice, such as on obituary. I am staring to look "horizontally" like this, as well. Items that will NOT suffice include "Data Collections" on Ancestry, which are simply extractions from family trees, and not recognized as genealogical standard of proof. Thank you kindly for helping direct me to any records. Timothy J. Barron tim@timbarron.net http://timbarron.net
