COX, Mary C. 90, of Middletown, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013, at her daughter's residence. She was born in Wolfe County, Kentucky on October 1, 1922 to parents Esau and Mae (Branson) Spencer. Mary was a homemaker and in her younger years babysat for many small children, loving them all as if they were her own. She always fed her wild birds and loved caring for her many beautiful flowers. Mary had attended Towne Blvd Church of God faithfully as long as her health allowed. Mrs. Cox is survived by her daughter, Helen Pieratt; son, Kenneth Cox; sister, Faye (John) Deaton; four grandchildren, Jeff (Bethlea) Pieratt, Julie (Randall) Sutter, Cathy Brown & Kenneth Cox II; eight great grandchildren, Zachary & Rachel Pieratt, Aidan & Luke Sutter, Stephen & Ryan Brown and Xavier & Kenny III Cox; and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samp Cox Jr.; parents; sisters, Emma Townsend, Beulah Brewer & Jean Allen; and brothers, Elmer Spencer & Trulen Spencer. The family would like to thank Hospice Care of Middletown for their help and loving kindness during this time. Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 24, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Wilson -Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Mitchell Burch officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Towne Blvd. Church of God, 3722 Towne Blvd., Middletown, OH 45044 - OR - Yankee Road First Church of God Building Fund, 3029 Yankee Rd., Middletown, OH 45044. I was hoping to find a marriage between Lewis Mullins and Elizabeth Robins/Robbins/Roberts in late 1860's/early 1870's? any help w/b appreciated.
