News Death Notice NEAL, Garnett age 91, of Middletown, passed away June 1, 2013 at Hawthorne Glen. She was born March 17, 1922 in Wolfe County, KY to Courtney and Elizabeth (Culberson) Tolson. A sister in Christ, Garnett read her Bible daily. She enjoyed both vegetable and flower gardening while taking care of her family and home. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Neal in 1994; sisters, Mary Peck, Maxine Wilson and Opal Bolin; and a brother, Paul Tolson. Garnett is survived by her son, Don (Renee Patton) Neal; grandson, Donnie (Karla Brewer) Neal, Jr.; great-grandson, Chance Neal; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Neal; brothers, Fred Tolson, Porter (Mary) Tolson and Emerson (Lil) Tolson; sister, Ada (Jack) Shackelford; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2013 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 10:00 am with Pastor Don L. Shepherd officiating at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Woodside Cemetery.
