Hampton, Ernest L., age 82, of Middletown, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Hospice of Butler and Warren County. He was born June 26, 1930 in Campton, KY to Boone and Florence (Rose) Hampton. He served our country in the US Air Force with an honorable discharge. He was a job setter for G.M. for 36 years. Ernest was a member of The Church at Mayfield and the Jefferson Masonic Lodge. Ernest He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Minnie (Brewer) Hampton in 2009; brothers, Sam and Elwood Hampton; sisters, Reva Fields and Orpha Ladadie. Ernest is survived by his wife, Victoria Hampton of 3 years; sons, Roger (Phyllis Kahn) Hampton, Rodney (Doreen) Hampton both of Middletown; daughter, Pam (Bill) Back of Carlisle; grandchildren, Chris Hampton, Melissa Clark, Nikki Hampton, Billy Back, Bobby Hampton; great-grandchildren, Chris Hampton, Andi Sorrell, Claire Clark. A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Jerry Minor officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Butler and Warren County, 5904 Long Meadow Drive, Franklin, OH 45005. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
