TAULBEE, Rev. Armel age 86, of Camden, Ohio, went to his heavenly home on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the Friendly Nursing Home where he had been a patient for 10 days. He was born June 2, 1925 in Wolfe County, Kentucky. He was employed as a crane operator in West Processing at Armco Steel for 30 years retiring in 1975. He served as Pastor at the Illinois Avenue Community Chapel from 1972 to 2002. Rev. Taulbee was a member of the Beechwood First Church of God, the F.& A.M., Scottish Rite, Royal Arch Masons, Royal and Select Masons, the Knights Templar and was a Kentucky Colonel. Preceding him in death were his parents, William and Pearlie (Hollon) Taulbee; one son, Gary Lee Taulbee; and one sister, Laura James. He is survived by his wife of 63 ½ years, Betty L. (Wright) Taulbee; two children, Mike Taulbee and wife Sandy, Pam Short and husband Rick, and daughter-in-law, Barbara Taulbee; five grandchildren, Michael Taulbee and wife Megan, Mary Black and husband Steve, Shawn Taulbee and wife Lisa, Alan Short, and Jessica Taulbee; three great grandchildren, Payton, Nolan and Violet with one on the way; three brothers, Rex Taulbee, Tyler Taulbee and wife Barbara, Stanley Taulbee and wife Jennella; four sisters, Clarice Russell, Rosalie Combs and Harold Paul, and Dorothy Hollon and husband J.R., and Lillie Crutcher and husband Don; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Beechwood First Church of God, on State Route 122, in Beechwood, Ohio, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Kenny Brewer officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Gratis, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Beechwood First Church of God or to Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties.
